General Sizing
At LIFE, we believe that the right fit can transform your wardrobe and boost your confidence. To help you select the perfect pieces, we’ve put together a simple guide on how to measure yourself accurately. Start with a soft measuring tape and follow these key steps:
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape snug but not tight.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, just above your hips, where your body bends.
- Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to your ankle for the perfect pant length.
- Sleeve Length: With your arm slightly bent, measure from the centre back of your neck, across your shoulder, and down to your wrist.
Take your time, and remember to stand straight while measuring for the most accurate results or even better - have someone else take the measurements for you.
How to Measure Your Neck Size for a Shirt
Getting the right neck size is essential for a comfortable and stylish fit. Follow these simple steps to measure your neck accurately:
- Gather Your Tools: You'll need a soft measuring tape and a mirror for this process.
- Position the Tape: Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck, just above your collarbone. Ensure it sits comfortably—not too tight, but snug enough to hold its position.
- Check the Measurement: Look in the mirror to ensure the tape is straight and not twisted. Take note of the measurement where the tape overlaps.
- Add Room for Comfort: For a more comfortable fit, add about half an inch (1.27 cm) to your measurement. This extra space will allow for movement and prevent the collar from feeling restrictive.
- Confirm Your Size: If you’re between sizes, it's generally best to round up for a more relaxed fit.
